Fairly easy to install. The shade is dark blue but looks black. This lil is an average of 20% darker than you. If you make your own shade I recommend this for the price. To give you a rough idea I used 1 roller for 2 doors. On a '96 Chevy s10 I also used 2 rolls of 5% Gila Anti Static Tint on all my rear windows because a layer of 5 is a bit dark but still lets light through where you can see the dark shadow so I have it in two pieces stuck layer which is much better and so dark you cant see anything at all. The view outside is pretty decent except it's dark at night but you can see cars behind you. All in all I love it.
