Unfinished handle in knife block sets
Assembling a knife set with a wooden handle. Old Hickory doesn't sell a bread knife, and I've had good experiences with Case knives made in the USA. This knife is of excellent quality but for the price I was expecting a better finished handle. At the moment the handle is impregnated with 3 layers of linseed oil. I don't mind some of the less expensive knives, but two Case knives are $30-$40 and I expect them to have a fully finished/sealed handle.
