Solid Mount, Flimsy Adapters

Installation was very easy and the mount itself is pretty solid. The GoPro mount option is also solid, but the spacing feels a little short and cramped with my camera body. I've used Bryton and Garmin adapters and I don't know how much I could trust them with an expensive GPS unit, especially on rough roads and/or gravel. Both units started rattling in the mount after a week or two of driving. This might just be a common problem with these types of mounts, which are made from a thin piece of brittle plastic, but I think you get what you pay for. I'll try to salvage this device by installing a K-Edge adapter. Cross your fingers so the screw holes line up. Summary: If you're going to spend a lot of money with GPS, buy a better mount than this one. For the record, I've been using a Hammerhead Karoo 1, which is perhaps the heaviest head unit on the market, and some of my roads are pretty rough, although potholes aren't really a problem.
