Works well for the price

Having never used an infrared thermometer I wasn't quite sure how accurate it would be compared to a much more expensive device. As far as I can tell so far, it's running stable. I can't vouch for the accuracy 100%. I will have to do more tests. In terms of build quality, the biggest complaint I have is the grip/battery compartment. The handle is where you put the battery. It is held together only by friction. You're expecting a screw, or at least a remote-like clasp that requires you to lift the clip to open. My lid always pops open. It's not even very tight. I think I have to glue it on. I honestly don't know how much the seller actually takes suggestions from reviews but here's my suggestion: BATTERIEFACHSEUCH I would probably give it 4-5 stars but not fixed before.
