I can't speak for all applications but when I installed them on my Buick Lesabre to replace the factory height dampers I was pleased that they worked with my factory air lines although I was concerned that they would it did. It will work. Although KYB advertises this shock as factory suspension, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they made the handling a little stiffer. They didn't! In fact, I really can't tell any difference other than no hydraulic oil leaking on the sides of the new shocks. Excellent purchase!
