This is being used with my hitch on my 2016 VW Tiguan. Works well, I did buy a locking pin separately. It was easily assembled and I can move it into the folded position easily myself. The only issue, which is not a fault of the basket, is that you need to be cautious when backing up or going over a dip/leaving a driveway as it may scrape if you are not careful. Overall, this has been perfect for getting my camping gear out of the car and leaving room for kids and dog inside!
