I recently took this bag to my golf destination. The bottom 2/3 of the bag is made of durable PVC pipe and the top parts are made of soft nylon. I checked the bag with the driver, 5 irons, 7 irons, 9 irons, a wedge, stick and 4 packs of balls. When I travel, I put irons on my socks to keep them from rattling. I was worried the bag wouldn't stand up to the airport bullying but my clubs arrived in perfect condition. This saved me $50 on club rental every round of golf, and the bag attached to the back of the cart because the handle is just the right height to route the strap. I will always keep this bag in my trunk so I can complete the course or range at any time without taking up much space.
