Incredibly Fast: Collars

Our 8 month old Dachshund Pit mix is usually pretty quiet but after the pandemic we started leaving him alone for the first time and he barked the whole time. Put it on him and watch him on camera. His first bark caused a beep/vibration. This distracted him, but he still wanted to try again within 30 seconds of the first. The beep distracted him again, but the shock definitely made an impression. If he made a noise afterwards, the beep/vibration was enough to make him change his mind. However, the next few times I put it on I'll just put it on vibrate mode. I tested the shock on the inside of my forearm before putting it on him. It's definitely impossible to ignore, but it's not as bad as a stun gun or being electrocuted from a 120v outlet or anything like that. Doesn't feel cruel but definitely understands why it's effective. Rubber sleeves for probes intensify the sensations. I was afraid that they would not fit a small dog. It weighs 30 pounds and the tile it is lying on in the picture is 2 feet by 1 foot. It can be adjusted to fit your wrist, so no problem. The noise sensitivity is a bit deceptive. Our house is quiet but I put a white noise generator next to it and if it got too close it would go off at level 3. I'm sure level 1 would suffice. It was a life saver and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a barking dog.
