Review on Hamilton Beach 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker with Built-In Auto-Rinsing Grinder, Glass Carafe - Black (45505) by Tara Perry

This thing is LOUD! I mean, the jet takes off loud! TWICE per brew! Forget waking up to the smell of freshly ground beans and brewed coffee - you'll be awakened by the screeching of a coffee grinder coming from multiple rooms! Maybe, maybe I could get used to it. But that's not my only problem with this car. The first cup of coffee is pretty good out of the pot, but the burner is so hot that it has too long an aftertaste on the second cup of coffee and the last cup tastes like crap. I put toothpicks between the pot and the burner to solve this problem. It seems to work, but the smell of toasted toothpicks is confusing. The machine is also HUGE, so it doesn't fit under many cupboards in modern kitchens. All in all I would NOT buy it again. I would like to return it but I've waited too long.
