I got this kit mainly for the air cleaner, primer ball and the gasket between the carburetor and air cleaner. I cleaned my old carburetor so I figured it was good enough, but honestly I didn't think the new carburetor was going to be as cheap as it was. But I tried it and it fit and worked great. My old Toro smoked on take off and for the first few minutes of running I just thought it was the rings failing. It's only been a trimmer mower since I got a driver a few years ago so it's not a big deal. But with this new carb it doesn't smoke at all, so the old carb must have been rich. I never used a primer lamp as the new gasket caused me to have no start. Also, I may have ordered a rear air cleaner housing to include the primer bulb installed since my old one was a bit warped. This set is of great value.
