Review on ⚙️ ACDelco ARM601-4 1/2” Heavy Duty Digital Torque Wrench: Buzzer & LED Flash - ISO 6789 Standard with Calibration Certificate by Hugo Caywood

I ordered one of these and when it arrived I put brand new batteries in and the LCD screen was very difficult to read. Then after setting it for torque I noticed that the reading was higher than my pre-sonic torque setting. I decided I had a broken key and ordered another one. It had the same characteristics. I calibrated the wrench against a known good wrench and found that the noise was accurate to the torque and the reading was consistently 5-20 ft-lbs. higher than the actual torque over the whole range. This is totally unacceptable. To get accurate torque with this tool, you must rely solely on the audio signal, not the reading, or you will end up with under-tightened fasteners. I returned the second key and left with another one. I don't understand why the quality is so bad.
