Incomplete trim quality

I haven't installed this yet, I'm sure everything will be fine once installed. However, today it came without any information. There are no installation instructions. I know it's easy. Just drill a hole in the door, stick it in and screw it on, but HOW BIG IS THE HOLE?! Come on, Schlage, your peephole is worth more than everyone else, put paperwork on it! Also, the packaging was inadequate.
