I looked at lot of brands and models that cost more but have a drawback. The injector cap is separate on this model, not built into the case. This way you can clean it, and you can use it for all sorts of liquids besides water. I use it half a dozen times a day and could do it in my sleep by the second day. These soda makers are simple devices with no electronics and no electrical plug. No reason they should cost a lot. This one does more than other brands that cost twice as much.

- The machine may not work well with drinks that have pulp or solids
