This was purchased based on my recent experience with another brand's collar of this type. The other brand did not come in a size large enough for my Dogo, so I found myself here. The overall quality of this collar is great. However. every morning and evening, I find myself having to adjust it as it twists/separates the layers. My Dogo is also able to pull out of it when leashed. Her collar size is 23", so we purchased the Large which indicates it is for 18-26". We have it tightened so it fits snugly around her neck without choking her, but she manages to yank her head out of it each time. I am not sure if this is a dog issue or a collar issue, but it is annoying to say the least. Another downside to this collar versus the other brand is that there is no ring for tags separate from the leash ring.
