After three years of winter use my old safety light had an internal problem that I couldn't fix so I decided to replace it with this light. My old flashlight used removable batteries that worked reasonably well, but this flashlight had built-in lithium batteries which I considered an improvement, not to mention the new flashlight was a few bucks cheaper. I use this light as a warning light on my pickup when clearing snow. It has 6 different flashing patterns that you can mix and choose as you like. I used it this winter and found it to be just as reliable as my old flashlight. I usually leave it on all the time when I'm plowing and it never goes out or turns off during the period of use. Likewise, the magnetic base sticks firmly to any surface it is placed on and will not slip or fall off at normal highway speeds in winter. When I'm done with my chores, I take it off the roof, bring it indoors and charge it up with a refreshing charge, ready for the next time I need it. Charges quickly, typically less than an hour. In a word, he's reliable, does what I want and has never let me down! I am very happy with it.
