There are a lot of threads and they seem to be of good quality, which is the main thing that worries me. The case is nice, but the plastic is flimsy. The lid was cracked and broken on arrival, although the outer packaging was undamaged. Revain handled this with no problems, but I don't think the flimsy plastic will hold up if it's dropped or something. The bag has a handle for easy carrying. The fittings are fairly cheap but again the threads appear to be of good quality. The only complaint I have about the yarn is the color variation. I sorted them by color as shown in the photos and green, blue and brown are a few more than pink, purple and red. If you plan to do cross stitch with this kit I think the colors are probably good for garden scenes to use lots of green etc. but if it's friendship bracelets for kids I'd look more for gem colors. This set has them, but not as many as in other more neutral colors. Overall I would say it's worth the price compared to the price of so many threads at a craft store.
