This tape measure from Perfect Pi saves me time at work. I work with metal and I usually need to measure the circumference of something and then put that measurement into my calculator to get the circumference. This tape shows me the results straight off the tape. And since the side of the circle is divisible by 1/100, that equals the decimal number .010. So if I need a diameter of 7.875 inches I only measure 7pi and 87.5/100. Also, the other tapes I use to measure circumference (like Stanley's standard 1/4" x 120" tape) are very narrow, yellow, and hard. For reading, this Perfect Pi Band is 1/2 inch wide with easy to read black markings on a white background. I also like that the zero starts a few inches from the end of the tape, making it easy to line up the zero with the desired reading. Most circular bands are 72 to 120 inches long, this one is at least 144 inches long, a little better than all the others. I wish I had financed this tape many years ago. I wonder why there are no similar ones on the market? Why shouldn't every roulette manufacturer have it in their range? But until they do, if you're measuring round things, I'd highly recommend getting this tape measure. It's not even expensive. And it has a magnet on the side that I didn't even know about. It sticks to the side of my toolbox and I'm ready and available when I need it. (colleagues? get your own)
