Well it's a good design, there's HDMI, USB-C, USB-A and 35mm. I bought this to use with my iPad Pro and not sure how I feel about it.1. Design: as I said, simple, minimalist design; However, in most cases this will not work. It doesn't sit well with any side protrusions. Works well with the Apple Smart Keyboard, but even then there is a small gap. Functionality is one thing, but that interests me more. It can be so free.2. Sporadic functionality: I'm assuming I'm having no luck with my item. Sometimes it charges my iPad via Type-C, sometimes it doesn't. Since ipados 13 beta I use type C for charging, type A for usb mouse dongle. Again, sometimes both work, sometimes neither, and most often a combination of one and the other doesn't work. I, as an uneducated consumer, thought this was due to a heating issue. Doesn't get hot, but warm enough. So I did some quick experiments to see if active cooling would solve the problem. Heating, or rather heating this button, did not affect the results. I also speculated that it might have been a problem with my iPad's beta software. So I tried this on my other Windows/Android devices which crashed intermittently. I didn't even start with the 35mm jack plug. I'm not suggesting that the buyer pay attention, just to understand that you can get a bad batch. Definitely test and send back if necessary. My other duplicate type-c didn't cause these problems.
