It did a great job with the original oil level gauge being larger than the replacement for the .

Advertised as a 1/2" drive (that's what the packaging says) but is actually a 3/8" socket. It did an excellent job with the original oil sensor block which is more than a replacement on my 1991 4.3L Blazer S-10. The smaller NAPA replacement unit used a 1-1/16" deep outlet.
