I didn't fall on my head but I will wear it just in case. I wear it backwards because I need protection on the back of my head, not the front. The back of this group had a little padding. I hate wearing a skate helmet so I tried this one instead. When I'm working on more dangerous skills, I wear a regular skate helmet, but that's for everyday riding. I'm sure it offers more protection than nothing. I don't like that the velcro is very difficult to adjust. It hurts my fingers to pull the tabs off the Velcro. I wish it had more padding and the holes bother me because they are sticking out of my hair. Then the hair can get caught on the Velcro. Yes. This group is just fine. I use that. Maybe it will help protect me a little.
