Perfect for a foyer but know what you're getting and prepare

I need new carpet for the foyer at home and it's quite a large area so either use just one rug or a big one Carpet to cover only a small area. A small rug looks odd and out of place. This is the perfect size for what we need. It also seems to hold up well to the heavy traffic in the area (I only have to vacuum it once a day or every other day, not 2-3 times a day like I've done with other rugs in the area). Still, it's great for a foyer. If you plan on using this in the bedroom or living room of your house, you might want to think twice. It's not soft at all and not comfortable on the feet even though it looks nice. And it dries really fast, which is great because it rains a lot in Florida, so people come in with wet shoes, take their shoes off, and only the carpet gets wet and dries fast, not traces of water everywhere on the marble tile floor and all others. ends up breaking his hip. However, if your experience is similar to ours, the mat will NOT lay flat when you receive it. Here's how to fix it. Put the rug upside down. Then take the edge of the rug and roll it very tightly (opposite to the direction of rotation). Unfold and spread it out. You will need to repeat this process several times until the rug is completely flat. It's not a big deal, but it's a bit of a hassle and you should be aware of this when ordering so you don't get frustrated when the rug arrives and isn't laying as flat as it should. Overall this is an attractive rug for high traffic areas that get wet, but not very suitable for living areas such as a family room or bedroom. and don't forget to "rotate" it to get it right.
