I have been sharpening kitchen knives, chisels, slicers with stones for 50 years. I bought this sharpener 1520 on 12/08/2018 to quickly sharpen cheap kitchen knives for my son and my neighbor. It worked great for this application. I've also used it on my inexpensive knives. The problem is that diamond blades wear out over time and need to be replaced. For four months I've been trying to contact the manufacturer to ask for a replacement or, worst case, send it back for a replacement. NO ANSWER! I've been on hold several times for up to 20 minutes and ended up receiving a recording to call back at another time. I submitted a request to their website which promises a member of their support team will respond as soon as possible. Grilling. Now I think there is no such thing as support staff. Bottom line: don't waste your money. Get a cheap manual and save yourself the heartache.
