Works perfectly. on Kayak Hardware

When installing on a fiberglass kayak, you must use rivets, not screws. You will need a rivet gun for this. If you have this and some clear silicone putty or glue these plugs can fit perfectly. Assembly order is important. First remove the screw cap from the larger diamond block. Next, drill a large center hole for the plug (on top of the pointed end of the kayak) and make sure the device is secure. Then push the device into this hole and drill two smaller holes for the rivets on each side. Remove the device, apply a generous amount of silicone and reinsert it. Install rivets. If you have never installed such rivets, there are several YouTube videos showing you how to do it. Reinsert the locking screw.
