I like this case so I'm sure it will be used but I'm sure I will gradually replace the items with better consumables. I bought this product because a few years ago I took drawing classes, which I really enjoyed, but life has taken me away from my newfound hobby. I've recently gotten back into art so I wanted to practice my drawing skills. Drawing is so basic. I couldn't find my supply crate that I collected a few years ago, so I figured this set would be a good stepping stone since it contains so many items that I've already collected. I wish it included a utility knife. Anyone who has taken art classes in college knows not to use a pencil sharpener. I don't even understand the criticism of pencil sharpeners, especially from reviewers who claim to be professional artists. I haven't used all the consumables in the kit yet. I don't like white eraser. I haven't opened the eraser yet. But what worries me the most are pencils. I have attached a picture of how I tested each hardness. It is obvious that there is no real range from dark to light or even soft to hard. I've had this set for at least a month now. Yesterday I decided to buy a more expensive set of pencils because I just found my box of drawing supplies and realized that some of the pencils I have are cores, but I have excellent erasers and charcoal. It's such a messy box, so I'm looking forward to taking some consumables out of this box and replacing them with higher quality materials. I don't find this article junk at all. It's a great set, but the kind of accessories I needed to have when I was taking drawing classes were definitely more expensive and better quality. This is a great set. However, this is not a deal. You get what you pay for.
