Review on 🏑 VIVOSUN 6.5 Inch Gardening Hand Pruner: Straight Stainless Steel Blades for Precision Pruning – Orange by John Ghattamaraju

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very sharp, narrow blades. Good scissors.

Very good for trimming and fine trimming. The blades are slightly longer than Fiskars and the tip is slightly narrower. The spring is a bit stronger than I would like, so you have to keep some tension on the handles to keep the blades from opening wide, which tires my hand after a while. Other people might like it a lot, but for the tiny thin stems that I cut, I just open them up a little. A reviewer mentioned a spring shortening that I might check. They are very sharp and cut cleanly and easily. On my pair, when fully closed, the blades overlap a bit, but that doesn't seem to affect the cut. In general, I like them even better than the old Fiskars. I have found that soaking the blades in a small shot glass with about an inch of olive oil for a few minutes and then wiping them down with paper towels works very well to remove the vegetable juice that collects on the tips of the blades. scrape with a blade or alcohol. Oh I shouldn't forget to mention that I liked that they were cheaper than other scissors I've bought and are still my favorite to this day.
