Review on Lodge Silicone Assist Hot Handle Holder by Angelo Forrest

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product. We bought these pans while inhabiting our Lodge cast iron pans and thought they would be a great addition. Also, the Lodge products are great! How could it not be? The second time we used them we saw that the bottom had deteriorated and almost broke. It should be clear that this hasn't been exposed to flame, but the heat should be enough to melt the rubber. Do they make it easy to grab a hot pan? Absolutely! But will they melt and cause danger? Yes. I would buy a good oven mitt and throw this product away.
