Of all the school supplies in my daughter's box, she grabbed *this one* and didn't put it down. She loves this sketchbook (and he used to carry it with him to take notes, draw and create - and create drawings *from* notes!). The pages are thick and smooth, the binding is strong. It is truly a treasure when all these wonderful creations are tied together! I also recommend this to parents who have a child who can't stop drawing on every piece of paper they can get their hands on. The binding is attractive and a great way to keep those sketches together. Since I was using it as a kind of exercise book, I didn't have to look at every folded piece of paper in her backpack to make sure I wasn't throwing away the excellent artwork drawn on the notebook paper (she doesn't appreciate her " work" like me) and their classmates). For the value of 5 stars; for quality 5 stars; because the fact that all this art is collected in one place is priceless!
