Review on Adjustable Cargo Bar 40-70 inches: Rapid Load Lock Rod with Strong Steel Construction for Pickups, Vans, and SUVs by Blake Giordano

I put 1 star because the exact bar is $20 at Home Depot and I'm pissed I didn't see it before I ordered and used it. In general it works great. I haven't tested this yet, but it seems that an object heavy enough can bend it if I hit the brakes hard enough if it hits with enough force. So by all means stack things directly against it so things don't have room to pick up steam. Otherwise it's pretty easy to use. The fully open handle allows sliding in either direction. The center handle is where you lock it in place, and the fully closed handle locks it in place. Good design. I might like to see one made out of thicker steel.
