Review on Zoo Med Betta Log that Floats by Barbara Gonzalez

I read some reviews and decided to buy and try it myself. Since some people have said it can peel, I put it in a sealed plastic bag with purified water (the chemicals were removed from the faucet with Prime Seachem). I left it there for two months instead of putting it in an aquarium. I tested it today and the smell was overwhelming. It gave off chemicals very similar to plastic and had a slippery smear on it. Needless to say, I dumped him. So please save your money and your fish will not buy this product.
