I ordered the size recommended by the carrier but they were small. My tires are off-road, so that was important. Even when ordering one size, they are still a bit "tight", but they work. They feel thin so I don't expect them to last many seasons and the straps at the back were tight and I couldn't pin them together. They seemed to rip the fabric if I pulled too hard. I'm not sure if a proper UV coating on tires wouldn't be as effective, but I've tried it and we'll see.
