Review on Shop Fox W1322 Anti Vibration 24 Inch by Todd Adams

I bought this because it was advertised as neoprene. I wanted to use its friction for slippery surfaces and prevent slipping. For example, I use it when laying a ladder on a polished wooden floor to increase friction. Or on a workbench if a pad is needed. Good news: it increases friction. It probably increases vibration dampening, although I haven't tried that. The bad news and the reason I deducted two stars is that its durability is not on par with neoprene. I have a wet suit. You can't rip my wetsuit; It's tough, durable, and feels like rubber. This material is easy to tear with bare hands. The scratches from my stairs brought me a few tears. When lifted over the edge, the piece came loose from the weight of the material alone! If you want to put something on top that stays still to dampen the vibration then that will probably work. But it can't handle scrapes, shears, or even lifting and moving, or you risk tearing. Not hard.
