Review on 📺 RCA DTA-800B1 TV Converter Box: Effortlessly Transition from Digital to Analog Pass-through by Todd Phillips

When the TV went to HD I wanted to continue using my 20 inch TV with a VHS recorder. I use a rabbit ear antenna and this converter worked surprisingly well. Of course, I live in a large metropolitan area where multiple channels are available. Finally, after all this time, there were subtitles on it and I couldn't remove them, so I put in an extra converter that we had on set and I almost don't like it. The one I had, hopefully like this one, looks the same, same model number, switched channels quickly, never overheated and every time I switched channels, the screen showed me what was playing on that channel. I really liked this feature. Can someone tell me if this box has such a function? LATER: I got a lot of replies and thank you all. I wired the box - very easy - I did it myself which is a miracle - and it works great. You women who are mechanically handicapped, this is very easy to do. I actually had to read the instructions to program the remote so I could control the volume and turn off the TV with the remote, but I was able to do it. In fact, I reprogrammed the remote control that comes with another RCA box that we have on another TV. Sooo proud of me. LATER: I found a problem with this box. I can turn up the volume with the remote but when I try to turn down the volume with this remote it changes the TV channel to 2. Then I have to get the TV remote to change the channel back to 3 what i get Channel.
