Review on πŸ’‘ Sunco Lighting Dimmable Bathroom Vanity Fixture by Russell Roberson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

They don't seem to last long

I really wanted these pears. In general I like LED bulbs - I want to use less energy and I like the long life of a traditional LED. They have been rated for 50,000 hours. I was concerned about the wavelength of the light, but I think the 4K lightbulbs looked really good in my bathroom fixtures. The problem for me is that in rooms where they are literally only used a few minutes a day, two bulbs have already failed in less than 6 months. I rarely turn on the lights in the master bath during the day - it has a window and a skylight, and the guest bath is rarely used. So these bulbs literally failed after a few hours of use - no more than 50,000. In comparison, the original obsolete incandescent bulbs wasted energy they just replaced in the last *15 years*, with two of the thirteen bulbs burned out. And this despite the fact that they are used much more frequently by twice as many residents. Two of the five bulbs I've used so far have burned out in less than 6 months (one seems to work briefly when I pull it out and tap it - then it won't light up the next time I turn it on). the lights). They are of poor quality or I received a faulty batch.

Pros
  • βœ… SAVE ENERGY - Reduce your energy consumption immediately (up to 85%) by switching to LED! Sunco LEDs are an environmentally friendly choice because they last longer than traditional incandescent bulbs (halogen, incandescent, fluorescent) and reduce maintenance.
Cons
  • Very expensive
