Very comfortable shoes right out of the box. They move well and the ankle straps are stylish and very secure. The only reason these shoes don't get 5 stars is because even by the size chart they are really big. After reading other reviews I followed the sizing guide but still had to return my first pair half a size down. I am a very consistent size 8.5 and I have all 9's in other dance shoes. Based on the size chart I ordered 8.5 and they were still too big. They felt good when walking, but not when twisting and turning in the dance. The eights were perfect and very comfortable. I would buy these shoes again, especially for the price!
