Review on ☕️ Yama Glass Stovetop Coffee Siphon - 5 Cup Syphon by Arunprasath Corso

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great Coffee Filter

I bought this to replace the Bodum Pebo when I broke the top of this filter. The replacement part turned out to be larger than this entire coffee maker, and Yama has replacement parts that are less expensive and readily available. Pebo makes at least 6-5 oz cups which can go up to 5-4.5 oz cups which I thought was another plus. The pit was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The carafe's wider base means the handle stays cool and the water heats up before air pressure pushes the water towards the coffee; So you can simply fill the carafe with tap water, assemble the device, add coffee and place it on the gas stove over medium heat. Turn off when the water rises and the air comes out at the top. Makes great coffee. 5 star coffee. I found the cloth filter to be finicky - the instructions said to wash it with a toothbrush and then leave it in a glass of water in the fridge between uses. ?! I read there was a stainless steel filter and I got it. I found sand getting into my cup while making great coffee with a cloth. It also turned out that the stainless steel filter had to be taken apart for cleaning each time, as the coffee got stuck between its layers. I had an idea and tried the Bodum Pebo "Filter" (filtered plastic). He comes! With it, the coffee is cleaned of solid particles and washing is much easier than with any of the Yama filters. Other reviewers have said glass filter rods fit - I don't know. Excellent coffee with a cloth or grooved filter.
