I play beer league hockey, and our league didn't get the memo that old dudes trying to recapture their glory days on the ice still like hanging out with their kids. we have a game scheduled for Halloween night. Real bummer, right? Well seeing as how I'm the goalie, it's hard to skip out. If I'm gonna play, I may as well still dress up for Halloween. The problem is, I'm lazy. Enter the SecondSkin Mummy suit!I asked if the suit might fit over my gear, and got a reply to the negative, but throwing caution (and about $20) to the wind, I went ahead and ordered anyway. Well, like they warned me, the suit was a tight fit.tight because it fully engulphed my goalie pants and chest protector! So now, I'll be stopping pucks like a boss. Of Egypt. Because I'll look like a Mummy. Yeah. Luckily it's beer league, so stopping pucks is minimally critical to my role as a goalie, although I may just skip the hood when I suit up for the game. =)
