Not worth it

This is the first Revain review I've ever done and unfortunately it says something. I am getting married in 6 days and thought this would be a meaningful gift for my father at this memorable moment in my life. When I received the item today, I was very disappointed with the workmanship. First, the packaging of the box was torn open with a hammer claw. Upon opening it, I found that there was no packaging material to protect the hammer. It was just thrown in a box (which is normal for a regular hammer, but not for a souvenir). Then I examined it and found that the impact surface was noticeably uneven and 3/4 rounded. rise. The hammer eye was not finished at all and is still rough. Both cheeks had several scratches and were rough toward the eye. The epoxy on the handle was also unsatisfactory as it dripped. Overall the lack of attention to detail was bad, to say the least. I decided to spend an additional $10-$20 on this seller, thinking that the difference in price would mean better quality, but I was hugely mistaken.
