I have bought MANY light up dog collars over the years. This collar is one of the brightest and coolest. However, this should NOT be used as a limitation. That said, don't attach anything to this collar, it's for looks only. And that it works very well. This collar allows me to see my dog from a long distance. I set my mode to alternate colors as it gets the most attention and I like the colors of the rainbow, but you can also set it to static color mode. It does NOT have the full color spectrum, but the colors it produces are bright and vibrant. Refer to the instructions when choosing the size of the collar, cut it between the LEDs, remove the locking screw, put the collar back into the case and retighten the locking screw, making sure you pierce the vinyl case collar. Again, this isn't the most durable collar, so I wouldn't recommend leaving it on your dog for rough handling, or using it for anything other than nighttime visibility. The battery is rechargeable and uses a standard mini USB connector. These cables are widely available and you can charge them from any USB adapter or even from a port on your computer. My K9 now looks like a Vegas sign and lights up the night in style! UPDATE: Just a few weeks after purchase, the collar stopped working out of the blue. I watched my pup walk back to the house and it was getting dark. I thought maybe the battery needs charging, but after a full charge the device still didn't work. This was my favorite collar so I'm disappointed with the durability of the device. Revain replaces a failed block, but I have some doubts about its durability. You may have to find a similar one, but better. I would happily pay $50 for a well designed and well built collar.
