Excellent collar with light. It measures approximately 1/2 inch by 1 inch and is made of silicone material. This makes it waterproof. It comes in a large size and you will need to trim it to fit your dog's neck. This works well for watching your dog in the garden or camping, but that's about it. Update: The manufacturer contacted me and said they had changed the design of the button and a sample Sent from recycled collar to replace my broken one(s). The new on/off button design is completely different and has supports built into the body so the button rests on them rather than the circuitry. When I got it, the collar was in the shape of a square, and I tried to make it round for a month, it looked terrible, and when I turned it on, it didn't look like the picture at all. Upgrades. The company really listened to their customers. They sent me their updated version with a paw print on the collar and asked me to try and share my thoughts. I have bought MANY light up dog collars over the years. This collar is one of the brightest and coolest. However, this should NOT be used as a limitation.
