The factory mirrors were good but when towing a trailer I could only do one trailer see in it! Not good! So I bought a set and installed it. Tip: If you need to do something else on the door (change speakers, switches, etc.), now is the time to do it. You still have to remove the door panel. handle, then disconnect a few wires) as easy as peeling a pear! Unplug the mirror, loosen the three nuts and pull off the old mirror. While holding the new mirror, tighten the 3 nuts and reattach the panel. !Significantly increased field of vision! Most of the mirror parts are adjustable from the driver's position in the same way as the old ones. The heater works the same as the old ones (except in my case because the driver's side doesn't work anyway.. now it works!) The wide angle part must be set manually. Mirrors are rock solid! No vibrations no matter what road I'm on or how bad it is (only paved roads so far!) And if you need to tow, just flip it into the towing position and life is good! easy enough to do. Overall I'm very happy with how they fit, look and perform on my 3/4 ton Dodge.
