Great tool, solid and durable although the scale is too small and difficult to read.

I'm surprised this hasn't been reviewed yet, I think it's because it's a bit expensive to inflate tires. You get what you pay for, it's like buying a tool for life. The main assembly is solidly built and can be left on the garage floor and operated on foot; although you can easily work with it manually as well. The pressure gauge is small, the pressure scale is crowded and difficult to read; although it includes both psi and bar scales. The hose is long, with a combination Schrader valve and Presta valve connection that is durable and doesn't leak. However, the connection is a bit fiddly and the hose seems strong enough, but has no real abrasion protection, which in my opinion would be the weak point of the device. The kit also includes a needle adapter for inflating sports balls and the like. The nicest thing about this connector is that it has a 90 degree angle, which means it is easier to connect to motorcycle tire valve stems. The included instructions are clear and well written, although it does mention that thread sealing tape should have been included for the air hose connection nipple. ; There was no sealing tape. The connection nipple is designed as a quick 3/8 hose connection, but when I tried to swap it out for a larger one to fit my air system, it was very difficult to remove. They appear to have attempted to permanently install the connector barb when they should have left it easily replaceable and sealed tape as the manual promises. I took off a star for a combination of small flaws, but it still seems like a good device.
