I'll start off by saying I've been using Milwaukee drill bits for about 20 years. I have their virtual grave as I only use them for around 3-6 months before rebuilding the gears. I bought DeWalt to try with skepticism. I've had this drill for about a month now and it beats Milwaukee in every way. My drills check the raw installation in about 50 households a year. The DeWalt doesn't seem to get as hot as a Milwaukee with constant use, and while it draws more amps, my alternator feels lighter because it doesn't get stuck like holey hawks. Time will tell if there is longevity, I'll post a message after I've had it a little longer. Variable Speed + More Power + 2 1/2" - 3 1/2" holes all day + Well it's been over a year of heavy use now and this drill bit is still working! DeWalt is bringing me back as a customer. I will never go back to Milwaukee
