These cables were purchased for use in my car, this is a newer model with two USB-C ports for the front seats and another pair for the rear seats. At first both cables worked in the front, but after a month one stopped working. OK. Then we had a passenger in the back seat who needed to charge her iPhone. So I gave a cable here that worked in the front seat but none of the rear ports seemed to work. Hm. I tried the cable again from the front and it charged from the front port but not the back. If the car manufacturer replaced the electronics in the rear, the cable would still not work. OK. I bought a cable from Apple at extortionate prices and tried it. Works everywhere. Well you get what you pay for. It's too late to send these cables back, but next time I'll know better.
