Wring the water out of the fabric. Fold into a square. He will clean the windows without wiping them dry. Used for glass on storm doors. No stripes. I haven't had the same results with bathroom mirrors. Probably because of the toothpaste splattered on the mirrors. Works great with stainless steel. Brilliant without streaks.
