Review on TP-LINK Archer C7 AC1750 Dual Band Wireless AC Gigabit Router - Renewed with Two USB Ports, IPv6 and Guest Network by Jasmit Singh ᠌

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Absolutely unusable product, not suitable for use.

I took it to replace the dead Zyxel Kinetic Lite II. After all, I thought about taking the zyukhel again, but his signal weakness was killing me. I read forums for two days and googled info on a good 5Hz dual-band router, and a lot of people advised Archer C7. It is even considered some kind of the best router in Europe (I'm shocked :)))) I took it. Connected. Having set up the phone for a 5Hz network, I checked the coverage area and was very glad that everything became clear. But I was not happy for long, in the kitchen we watch IPTV via the Internet (not UDP). And imagine, my TV (2.4 Hz wi-fi) while watching IPTV via wi-fi somehow strangely hangs the router that it goes into a stupor and starts to break the connection on all devices connected to the router. it is impossible to log in even with a direct LAN connection to the network address. I tried to flash to the latest firmware, the same thing. With my previous TP Link 841, there was exactly the same problem, only it arose over time, and this one immediately looks like this. Very mysterious devices and unstable these TP-Link. I categorically do not advise taking this advertised model ! Regards, Alexey

Pros
  • All that is normal in this device is perhaps the design.
Cons
  • Previously, he owned a TP-Link 841 router. Yes, it’s cheap, yes, the muzzle is made on the knee of the web and it works exactly the same way through the stump deck. It was already a sad experience and again succumbed to the reviews and gave the brand another chance to be rehabilitated in my mind, but everything is sad again as always! 8 years have passed and the web interface of the muzzle has remained unchanged. The device is very unstable in its work, constantly lost ping packets.
