Review on Toilevator Toilet Riser by Donnie King

Revainrating 5 out of 5

and I can't imagine who else would be quite comfortable at 14

Another wonder device! I've found 3 on Revain in the past few months. With the toilet lift I'm really on the throne! Contrary to many appreciative reviewers, I'm short: maybe 5ft 6in in my thick-soled orthopedic shoes. I'm not a kid either and I can't imagine who else would be comfortable using a 14.5" toilet. I wasn't when I was 30. So far it's been ten months since my hip replacement and five months since my knee replacement passed. Next up is an ankle tendon transplant and possibly another knee replacement. My discs are crumbling between several vertebrae and my thumbs are retracting into my palms. I do NOT need to get on a "normal" height toilet, push it, or pull it down. The Husband installed a couple of these booster seats but cleaning requires too much disassembly so hasn't done it as often as it should have. Even the supposedly ADA compliant toilet (17.5" with seat) that we installed 4 or 5 years ago was way too low after hip surgery. The husband, a plumber, said the Toilevator was easy to install. The supplied inlet hose works perfectly. stable as a heqq, and as a bonus covers broken tiles that have accumulated over the years. My knees are under my hips, which is almost relaxing. Best of all, sitting down and getting up requires very little effort and isn't stressful. My arthritis parts and not quite healed bionic thanks to the manufacturer of the toilet lift.

Pros
  • When life calls for a raised toilet seat and you want to keep your existing toilet, Toilevator is the best alternative. Toilevator is a support that fits under the bottom of your toilet and adds 3.5 inches of extra height to any 14 or 15 inch toilet while maintaining the look of your toilet.
