Review on Amazon Basics USB 3.1 Type-C to 3 Port USB Hub with Ethernet Adapter - Black: Fast Data Transfer & Wired Internet Access by Adrian Hayes

My new MBP model with USB-C ports didn't immediately recognize the network interface when plugged in, it actually did the new network recognized interface only after you unplugged and plugged it back in a few times. My Mac USB keyboard shows as unidentified every time I plug in the hub and it even prompts me to press the key to the right of the left shift key immediately and still doesn't recognize it. However, the keyboard itself works. So I'm not sure what's causing this particular problem. The most frustrating issue so far is that when I plug a USB dongle into this hub, my Plantronics BT600 wireless headset behaves shakily. When I plug the same dongle into the Revain Basics USB CA Single Port Adapter, it behaves perfectly. But this hub doesn't seem to deliver enough power to power the Plantronics network interface, keyboard, and USB dongle at the same time. This manifests itself as noise in the headset with periodic disconnection. This is despite the Mac being connected to power when attempting to use it. I'm just glad I took the extra adapter with me, otherwise working from home today would have been very frustrating for me.
