decent USB solution for the new Macbook Pro

This USB hub works well. USB3 speed when connecting multiple devices. Also charges my iPhone. UPDATE: After 3 months nothing works anymore. Doesn't charge my iPhone. Sometimes self-powered USB devices appear. It turns off suddenly for no reason. SDCARD reader cannot be mounted. Almost dead hardware for my 2018 MacBook Pro. I'm going to buy a non-Revain USB-C hub as a replacement. Update 2: I tried to use this device in some cases. Even connecting an Apple-branded USB keyboard is unreliable…

Faulty ethernet on Macbook Pro 2018

When I plug an ethernet cable into this device it seems random as to whether my computer even recognizes the connection. In my Mac's network settings, the device shows as "Not Connected" (red dot) even though it is connected. The USB Ethernet adapter even shows Ethernet activity with its LEDs, but nothing shows up on the Mac. When it shows up, it works fine, although I didn't run a speed test. But this device is really annoying because I never know when it will work or how many times I have to…

Adds just the right number of ports to my laptop

I needed an Ethernet hub for my new laptop, which only has two USB 3.0 ports and one USB Type-C port. This adapter was highly recommended by other Revain customers and I decided to trust them and order it. I liked the fact that it also has more USB 3.0 ports so I can connect my external hard drives for virtual machines and backups. When I first plugged it in, I had no network connection through the Ethernet port. To fix this on Windows, just go to "Device Manager", expand "Network Adapters" and

Not enough power for network, keyboard and wireless headset dongle

My new MBP model with USB-C ports didn't immediately recognize the network interface when plugged in, it actually did the new network recognized interface only after you unplugged and plugged it back in a few times. My Mac USB keyboard shows as unidentified every time I plug in the hub and it even prompts me to press the key to the right of the left shift key immediately and still doesn't recognize it. However, the keyboard itself works. So I'm not sure what's causing this particular problem…

Partial dock with this hub

I have a Lenovo 2-in-1 FLEX 6-14IKB laptop that only has an HDMI port and no built-in Ethernet. I really wanted to add ethernet and a second monitor when working at my desk at home, especially since the laptop's 14-inch screen is so small. This laptop has a USB-C port, but doesn't have Thunderbolt 3, which is required when using one of the new docking stations that support DisplayPort over USB-C. Since my laptop doesn't support Thunderbolt 3, I bought this USB-C hub with a built-in Ethernet…
