When I plug an ethernet cable into this device it seems random as to whether my computer even recognizes the connection. In my Mac's network settings, the device shows as "Not Connected" (red dot) even though it is connected. The USB Ethernet adapter even shows Ethernet activity with its LEDs, but nothing shows up on the Mac. When it shows up, it works fine, although I didn't run a speed test. But this device is really annoying because I never know when it will work or how many times I have to disconnect and reconnect the device until it works. I do not recommend this device with a Mac. I am very upset that I bought 3 of these and the return window has passed. I would return them today if I could. The problem occurs on 3/3 devices.
