Review on OXO Good Grips Separator White by Kevin Harmon

All my other OXO products are more useful because of their thoughtful design. I think this egg separator is well designed, but the final product has a fatal flaw .In which other egg separator product (Ey) there is not enough room for the egg whites that usually drip over the top rim but the separation works well because the egg cup is deeper.There is more than enough room for the egg whites in this OXO separator but not enough for the yolk The bottom of the separator is a small cup that should contain the yolk Too small to hold the yolk of a typical large egg (I tried about 30 eggs) If the yolk cup is too shallow it will break Yolk then sticks to the inside edges of the slit (the top edge of the yolk cup) and partially drains through the slits This has happened to me in about 60% of the eggs I've tried Didn't have to separate how the change would have been incorporated into the design after it was originally tested (which I think would have sorted out this issue) but then the redesign wasn't tested. I will look for an improved version 2 but with a 60% bounce rate. I can't use version 1.
